| On 23, Jan 2015

Turkish drams continue to impact the Latin American market and Global Agency’s ‘1001 Nights’ has secured new broadcasting regions. The series launched in Chile on Mega, through Caracol in Colombia and later in Argentina on network El Trece.

The Turkish hit drama will make its 2015 debut in Brazil (Bandeirantes), Peru (Frecuencia Latina), Uruguay (Saeta), Bolivia (Unitel) and the U.S. Hispanic market (MundoFOX).

“After six years trying to enter the region, we are now very successful in Latin America, where our hit drama series 1001 Nights is engaging audiences across the continent. It first started to air on Mega Chile for four days a week in a prime-time slot from Sunday through Wednesday. It became an immediate leader in the prime-time ratings and became the most successful foreign series in the history of the country. This opened other markets in Latin America and now, we are very happy to announce that 1001 Nights has moved into Argentina, Brazil and Peru after Chile, Uruguay, Colombia and U.S. Hispanic. As Global Agency, we are very proud to be able to open the market for Turkish series”, said Izzet Pinto, COE of Global Agency.
